Once a project is started, a countdown timer shows when the translation is going to be ready.  The timer assumes a working rate of about 2,000 words per day. 

A translator may request more time if needed which can be approved on the project page.

Adding time does not affect the cost of your project. To extend the deadline, go to the project page and scroll down to the Add More Time panel. The amount of time is calculated in minutes. 
For example, if you wish to add 3 hours to the timer, put 180 (minutes):
