Available projects appear on your Open Projects tab where you immediately can see the time allotted for the project:
In general, our productivity norm, which indicates the average translation speed in words per hour is 250 words with a maximum of 9-hour working day.
Important: the calculation behind the timer is complex, taking into consideration various factors such as project expertise, coffee breaks every hour, days off on bigger projects, ICE matches, repetitions, etc. Please make sure to always check the allotted time presented on the project page before starting the project.

Once you start a project, a countdown timer will appear so you know exactly how much time you have to complete a project:
If the situation requires, you may ask for additional time from the relevant tab on the project page:
Your request will be addressed to clients and they can approve or decline it depending on their deadlines.
If you accept a project but fail to complete it within the given timeframe, the project may be re-allocated to another translator and any payment may be forfeited.
To avoid such situations, always communicate any possible delays with clients and our Support team via the Translators-BLEND talk board.
