CAT tool (computer-aided translation) - is an online translation platform that automatically parses text into individual segments while maintaining the original formatting of the source in the translated target file. 

Currently, we work with XTM, SmartCat, Crowdin, Memsourse, and Lokalize as CAT tools providers. To simplify the process, any online editor on our platform is called a workbench:

Workbench is especially useful for coded file formats like HTML, XML, XLIFF, PO, etc. Workbench also utilizes translation memory to populate the target segments for any previously translated text. 

If the project page displays an orange button labeled "Open Editor" or "Open Workbench" in the Translation Section -  then Workbench is available. In this case, the translator works directly in the Workbench platform and should not download the source file(s) or work in any other translation platform.
