Requesting more time is not a problem in most cases. You can ask for additional time right from the project page. Simply select “Need More Time?” towards the bottom of the project page and enter the number of minutes you need. 

The client will be notified and can approve your request in the same manner.  

If you don’t receive a reply from the client in a timely manner, simply complete the project as soon as possible.
