When a project is reserved for a client's preferred translator, the translator can use this feature to indicate how many hours before he/she can start translating. Once a translator submits their EST (Estimated Starting Time), a message is automatically sent to the client, informing him of the translator's timeframe:
A few important notes:
• Some clients have multiple preferred translators for the same language pair. If there is more than one translator allocated to a project, stating your EST will not result in having the project reserved exclusively for you.
• If the EST is not approved, the client may allocate the project to other translators. In such cases, an email notification will be sent to the translator.
• Stating your EST is a commitment. Missing the EST repeatedly may negatively affect your project allocation priority.
